My teaching experience began during my training at Western Michigan University with three semesters of pre-internships.  I also sought teaching experiences outside of my school, including church choirs, student-led ensembles, and private voice lessons.

After graduating, I decided to take a brief hiatus from the podium and pursue a lifelong desire to live overseas.  In order to continue working in a classroom, I chose to accept a position teaching English in The Republic of Korea.
